PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a drive controller for a DC motor which can improve the stability of the DC motor with respect to disturbances, without making its constitution complicated.
SOLUTION: A brushless motor 11 is rotated, with its energized phase of the coils 16-18 of two or more phases switched selectively, according to the operating states. A controller 13 connects and fixes the one-side terminal of the coil of the energized phase to the positive electrode of a DC power source 27 and also connects the other-side terminal of the coil of the energized phase to the negative electrode of the DC power source 27, in a period equivalent to the ON-duty of specified PWM cycle in a motor driver 12, thereby PWM-controlling the quantity of supplied electricity. The controller 13 connects the coil of unenergized phase to the positive electrode of the DC power source 27 in a period equivalent to the off duty of the specified PWM cycle of the energized phase in the motor driver 12, thereby short-circuiting the coils 16-18 of two or more phases and setting a braking state.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
