<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a power generation quantity of a power generation system having a generator for generating electric power by using suction negative pressure and a generator for generating electric power by using engine shaft output, so that energy efficiency is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: This power generation system has a rotor 2 interposed in an intake passage 10 of an internal combustion engine, the generator 3 connected to the rotor 2 and generating electric power by rotating the rotor 2, the generator 4 for generating electric power by being driven by the shaft output of an engine 1, a means 5 for detecting request electric power of a vehicle, and a power generation quantity control means 5 for controlling the power generation quantity of the generator 3 and the generator 4. The power generation quantity control means 5 generates electric power by the generator 4 in addition to the generator 3, when the request electric power of the vehicle is larger than a power generable quantity of the generator 3, by using the generator 3 in preference to the generator 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
