<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which is made to be lighter in weight of a neck part, easily manufactured, and excellent in strength and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The neck part to which a shaft is attached is independently manufactured with a fiber-reinforced resin or light metal and connected to a head main body so as to constitute the golf club head. A projection is formed in the sole part of the head main body and inserted to a neck member. The fixing part of the neck member is arranged at the top side of the head main body. The neck member is fixed at the two points. In this case, a part for pressurizing the neck member is not arranged at the outside of the projection. Then the structure of the head main body is simplified and stress is not concentrated on the neck member in the case of hitting a ball. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
