PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimation method for simultaneous pantograph bouncing rates of a plurality of pantographs, using current-type pantograph bouncing data that can be measured any time during night or day. SOLUTION: The estimation method of the simultaneous pantograph bouncing rates for the plurality of pantographs is such that, when the rate of the occurrence of pantograph bouncing at the arbitrary pantograph bouncing time t of the second pantograph is set as Rc<SB>2t</SB>, and the arbitrary pantograph bouncing time i (≤ta) of the first pantograph is set as Rc<SB>1i</SB>, the probability Ra<SB>1</SB>that the simultaneous pantograph bouncing occurs and an arc is generated from the first pantograph is calculated by an operation control device by Formula 1, and the simultaneous pantograph bouncing rates of the plurality of pantographs are estimated.
