摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further atomize fuel spray when air-fuel mixture from an inlet port 1 is supplied to the inside of a combustion chamber 8. SOLUTION: An intake air flow collision surface 11 colliding an intake air flow is formed on a crotch 10 between a first branch passage part 3 of the inlet port 1 and a second branch passage part 4 thereof. The collision surface 11 is formed to be retreated to the stem parts 6a, 7a of intake valves 6, 7, and comprises a first collision surface 11a and a second collision surface 11b. The second collision surface 11b is formed along the stem parts 6a, 7a of the intake valves 6, 7. The collision surface 11 disperses the intake air flow to both sides (the first branch passage part 3 and second branch passage part 4). Fuel spray from an injector 5 is atomized by being mixed with the dispersed intake air flow. The air-fuel mixture is supplied to the inside of the combustion chamber 8, and improves homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
