BIODEGRADABLE CONJUGATE MONOFILAMENT AND FISHERY MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable conjugate monofilament having excellent biodegradability and mechanical properties in balance and improved adhesiveness of an interface between core and sheath or an interface between sea and island and a fishery material composed of the monofilament, especially a fishing line. SOLUTION: The biodegradable conjugate monofilament of core-sheath type or sea-island type is obtained by using one component of the monofilament composed of a polyalkylenedicarboxylate having≥70°C melting point and the other component of the monofilament composed of a copolyester that comprises an aromatic dicarboxylic acid/an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic diol and has≥190°C melting point.
