PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method capable of obtaining an inexpensive machine component and having high machine component strength such as the tooth root strength and the tooth face strength of a gear by improving a method of treating the machine component. SOLUTION: The producing method for high strength machine component excellent in pitting resistance and bending fatigue strength, the surface treatment of a carburizing-quenching-tempering or carburizing-nitriding-quenching-tempering is applied to the machine component made of steel for high strength machine structure. Thereafter, a shot material, which is prepared by mixing steel balls having 40-200μm grain diameter and molybdenum disulfide powders having 5-50μm grain diameter at 0.5-10 vol.ratio of the steel ball/molybdenum disulfide power, is injected on the surface of the machine component at≥100 m/sec injection speed and for≥15 sec.
