PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous powder slurry coating in which the fluidity of the coating component that is obtained after the aqueous medium is evaporated and dried is improved to bring forth prevention of the sagging and the continuous film formed thereafter is excellent in smoothness. SOLUTION: The aqueous powder slurry coating composition is the one in which a pigment particle and a water-insoluble film-formable resin particle, or a composite particle wherein a pigment is coated by a film-formable resin having a self water dispersive property, and a resin globular particle consisting of a resin incompatible with the above resin and having a smaller average particle diameter is dispersed in an aqueous medium that contains a surfactant where deemed necessary.
