PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic balance with gentle changes in the weighed value caused by opening and closing of a wind shield eliminated. SOLUTION: A load detection signal from a load detecting part for detecting the load of a weighed object is sampled to be converted into a time-serial data äXn}, and a weighed value change amountΔWn in each fixed time interval is calculated, based on the time-serial data äXn}. The weighed value change amountΔWn is compared with a reference valueΔW1 and is regarded as an initial change by the load, when increasing and decreasing the directions thereof are the same and whenΔWn>ΔW1 to be display is made without executing smoothing, The weighed value change amountΔWn is compared with a reference valueΔW2 whenΔWn<ΔW1, and is regarded as under a vibration condition period, whenΔWn>ΔW2, and is displayed without executing smoothing. The weighed value change amountΔWn is compared with a reference valueΔW3 whenΔWn<ΔW2, and is regarded as a period affected by a convection, whenΔWn<ΔW3; and when theΔWn is decreased once and increased again, to be displayed without executing smoothing. The smoothing is started regarded as a stable condition period, when theΔWn is stabilized in the condition ofΔWn<ΔW3, so as to display the weighed amount after the smoothing and to display a readable signal.
