PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detection device capable of shortening a time required for detecting a specified target entering the inside of a coverage from the outside of the coverage of a radar device. SOLUTION: This device has a constitution wherein the entering direction of the specified target into the coverage of the own radar device is predicted based on specified target information 1 acquired from another radar device other than the own radar device by a specified target generation direction prediction part 2, and a transmitting/receiving antenna 10 is controlled so that a beam is directed in the predicted direction by a beam control part 9. Hereby, the time when a reflected wave 17 from the specified target is captured in the beam can be advanced, and the time required for detecting the specified target entering the inside of the coverage from the outside of the coverage of the radar device can be shortened.
