PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control medium which uses safe materials with small effect to human body in case of adhesion to skin or accidental ingestion, can detect the temperature history of whether or not preserving temperature of goods became high temperature improper for freezing and refrigerating, and is constituted not affected by external force. SOLUTION: The temperature control medium of this invention is provided with emulsion freezed below the freezing point. The emulsion is the temperature control medium phase-separated by temperature rise and is characterized by consisting of lipid mixture including fat and oil and phospholipid. When the emulsion has high viscosity, it is not necessary to be contained in a sealed vessel. When the emulsion is liquid state, it is desirable to be contained in a sealed vessel.
