PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound selectively stimulating vasopressin V<SB>2</SB>receptor, and useful as a treating or preventing agent for nycturia and/or diabetes insipidus. SOLUTION: This compound is a new 4,4-difluoro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-5H-1-benzoazepine derivative expressed by formula (I) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is an amino which may be substituted or the like; R<SP>2</SP>is CF<SB>3</SB>or a halogen; R<SP>3</SP>is H or a halogen; (a), (b) are each single bond or double bond, and when one is the single bond, the other is the double bond; X is (1) CH=CH or the like when the (a) is the single bond and the (b) is the double bond and (2) N or the like when the (a) is the double bond and the (b) is the single bond; Y is (1) CH or the like when the (a) is the single bond and the (b) is the double bond and (2) S or the like when the (a) is the double bond and the (b) is the single bond: A is O or the like; and B is a lower alkyl which may be substituted or the like] or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
