PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a coil of dissimilar section, and a method for easily assembling the coil of dissimilar section. SOLUTION: A wire 2 of a predetermined sectional shape is uniformly coiled around a pattern core 1 of the shape corresponding to cores. A coil 8 of dissimilar section is manufactured by pressing the coiled wire 2 and deforming it into a shape corresponding to a cavity 3a of a forming die 3. The manufactured coil 8 of dissimilar section is inserted from the outer side to a plurality of cores separated in the circumferential direction with inner circumferential sides connected to each other.
