PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture tool where anybody can simply attach and detach a cap and replaces a needle cartridge. SOLUTION: The puncture tool 10 for puncturing a living body with a needle 11 to exude a body liquid consists of: a puncture tool main body 2 for holding the needle cartridge 1 at a tip side attachably and detachably; and the cap 3 which is fitted to the puncture tool main body 2 attachably and detachably to cover the needle cartridge 1 and which is provided with a through hole 34 at its tip for allowing the needle 11 in the needle cartridge 1 to project. A hook 33 is formed at this cap 3, and an engaging part 23 in the state of protrusion to be engaged with a pawl part 36 of the hook 33 detachably is formed at the puncture tool main body 2.
