PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which can sufficiently send a supplied cleaning liquid to the side of an insertion section without flowing backward to the side of a treatment tool introducing aperture even when the treatment tool is in use. SOLUTION: The endoscope 100 includes an insertion section 104 which is inserted in a body cavity and an operation section 102 which performs a curving operation of the insertion section or the like. The endoscope is equipped with a treatment tool inserting duct 122 disposed at the insertion section, a treatment tool introducing duct 130 which is extended from a treatment tool introducing aperture 114 and connected to the treatment tool inserting duct, and a liquid supply duct 134 which is extended from a liquid supply aperture 116 disposed in the operation section, wherein the liquid supply duct is connected to the treatment tool inserting duct at a more distal end side of the operation section than the treatment tool introducing duct, and a direction of the liquid supply of the liquid supply duct forms an acute angle to a direction toward the distal end of the treatment tool inserting duct.
