PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture which is easy to assemble and foldable, and is stable when a shelf board or a table is fitted. SOLUTION: A right and a left supporting frames 3 and 3 of the furniture 1 comprise a front and a rear vertical frames 11 and 13, and an upper and a lower horizontal frames 15 and 17 linking the front and the rear vertical frames 11 and 13. The shelf board 7 comprises a front board 21 and a rear board 23. A rear end of the front board 21 and a front end of the rear board 23 are linked by a horizontal shaft 25 so as to be foldable in a way that a lower face 21b of the front board 21 and a lower face 23b of the rear board 23 are adjacent. Side end face brackets 29 are fitted to a right and a left end faces of the front board 21 and the rear board 23 of the shelf board 7. Engaging hooks 29a are provided on the side end face bracket 29 of the front board 21 and the side end face bracket 29 of the rear board 23.
