PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an intermediate part being the unnecessary space area of a heater. SOLUTION: The subject electric frier 3 has the heater 4 of a swing type so as to arrange the heater 4 in an oil tub 7 and so as to take out it from the oil tub 7. The heater 4 of a part to be arranged in the oil tub 7 is wound vertically and wound continuously while moving in a horizontal direction, The front and rear ends of winding of each heater 4 are twisted in a horizontal direction so that heaters 4A and 4B between the top and bottom are tilted. By twisting (obliquely tilting) the vertically wound part of the heater 4, the height is suppressed to be very low without changing its width from that of the conventional vertically wound heater 4. Thus, an area (volume) effective for cooking is increased for the part. Consequently, deep frying work is efficiently and conveniently performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
