PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic equipment which enables a surgeon to effectively and safely to carry out puncturing by simplifying the display switching operation of puncture guide marks. SOLUTION: A display intensity set circuit 20 having received the input of an operate signal "ON" inputs a display intensity varying signal indicating to weaken display intensity to an image processing circuit 15 when the surgeon presses down a display switching switch 19. An image processing circuit 15 having received the signal carries out image processing gradually reducing the size of the dot constituting the puncture guide mark. The display intensity set circuit 20 having received the input of an operate signal "OFF" of the switch 19 inputs a display intensity restore signal indicating restoring the display intensity into original intensity to the image processing circuit 15 when the operator releases the display switching switch 19. The image processing circuit 15 having received the signal carries out the processing of restoring the size of the dot constituting the puncture guide mark into an original size.
