A demountable atrium roof (3) has the support frames (5) supported on sliding mountings (4, 6) on modular units (1) comprising either ground support modules or accommodation modules. The sliding mounting enables the installer to assemble the system rapidly using standard components. The sliding mounting has support rails (4) fitted onto the roof of the support modules. The roof frames are provided with fittings to secure to the rails.
