<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of waveform data in automatic playing by easily generating music data with the waveform data. <P>SOLUTION: A waveform track of music data is selected to record waveform data, which are written to a hard disk etc. A program change which is made to correspond to the waveform data is recorded at the head of the waveform track. A note-ON event (sounding start) and a note-OFF event (sounding end) are recorded on the waveform data in timing corresponding to a trigger of the waveform data. A rise and a fall of waveform data of a drums part are automatically detected and a note-ON event and a note-OFF event are recorded respectively. When the waveform data are edited by division, deletion, pasting, etc., the timing of the note-ON event and note-OFF event are corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
