<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside mirror device for a vehicle capable of preventing a lamp lens of a lighting system from protruding at the outside surface of a mirror housing. <P>SOLUTION: An LED 24 is arranged in a position inside the mirror housing 4 and set off from a mirror unit 7. The outer surface of the lamp lens 14 can be put alongside the outer surface of the mirror housing 4, and the light can be put in controlled distribution in the specified range.
