<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which is safe and has a little influence on the environment, which has a green pixel part having excellent durability against various reagents or active energy rays and excellent coloring power. <P>SOLUTION: In a color filter having pixels of red, green and blue on a transparent substrate, the green pixel part is colored with a tetrabenzoporphyrin compound expressed by general formula (1).
