PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade driving device for a camera advantageous in terms of miniaturization, thinning and the reduction of cost. SOLUTION: A bottom board 1 made of synthetic resin, an aperture regulating plate 2 made of metal and a cover plate 3 made of metal, which have nearly the same external shape, are successively superposed and arranged. The bottom board 1 has a large opening 1a so as not to come into contact with a photographic lens. The cover plate 3 is attached to the bottom board 1 through screws 4 and 5, and constitutes a blade chamber for a shutter blade 6 with the regulating plate 2 having an opening 2a for regulating the aperture by making the regulating plate 2 press-contact with the bottom board 1 by projection parts 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d. One end side of the stator frame 7 of an actuator is attached to the bottom board 1 through a screw 11 and also the engaging part 7b on the other end side of the frame 7 is locked by a hole formed at the folded part 3e of the cover plate 3.
