PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner cube type retroreflective surface material capable of being suitably applied to an interior material for a vehicle, effectively reflecting solar radiation energy, and suppressing a surface temperature rise of the interior material by direct solar radiation or solar radiation through glass. SOLUTION: In this surface material 100, a corner cube 101 of a first size constituted of three surfaces having a substantially right angle between the two adjacent surfaces is arranged in a most densely filled manner. In at least a vertex part of vertex parts of the corner cube 101 of the first size, a corner cube 110 of a second size smaller than the corner cube 101 of the firs size is formed.
