PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the abrasion loss of a brush and to elongate the life time of a rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: A washer 54 is made to contact with a terminal 38 that covers the bottom of a brush holder for holding the brush of the rotating electric machine via plates 55, 56, and the washer 54 is made to closely contact with an end bracket that covers one end of a yoke. The plates 55, 56 and the washer 54 are constituted of materials that are high in heat transfer coefficients than that of a holder stay 27, and the heat of the brush is efficiently transferred to the end bracket through the passage of a heat transfer passage via the plates 55, 56 and the washer 54.
