PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone status mode management method and system. SOLUTION: In the cellular phone status mode management method and system, if a cellular phone is in a specific time slot, the cellular phone is automatically set to operate in a specific status corresponding to the specific time slot. The status mode management system includes an active time slot table, records a schedule for a user of the cellular phone, and defines status operating modes corresponding to activities which progress in time slots, in the active time slot table. When linking the cellular phone with an external electronic apparatus, times of the cellular phone and the external electronic apparatus can be matched by a time synchronizing device (Means), so that the cellular phone refers to a corresponding activity in the active time slot table at present time based on the present time of the time synchronizing device and further refers to a corresponding status operating mode in the status table based on an activity status at a time point of the activity, thereby automatically setting the cellular phone to operate in the status operating mode.
