PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oscillator employing a push-pull oscillation circuit that decreases reduction in an output level when the oscillated frequency gets higher. SOLUTION: A transmission line between a collector of an oscillation transistor TR 31 and an output terminal OUT comprises two lines 32, 33 connected in series. Similarly, a transmission line between a collector of an oscillation transistor TR 41 and the output terminal OUT comprises two lines 42, 43 connected in series. A circuit comprising series connection of a Schottky diode X31 and a Line 44 and a circuit comprising series connection of a Schottky diode X41 and a Line 34 are connected in series and inserted in parallel between a connecting point Ca between the Lines 32, 33 and a connecting point Cb between the Lines 42, 43 in a way that the polarity of the X31 is inverse to the polarity of the X41. Since outputs of the TRs 31, 41 receive distortion from the X31 and X41 and then are composed, the composed output includes increased harmonic components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
