PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure having improved adhering performance between a connection steel plate or a reinforcing steel plate and a weatherproof rubber to sufficiently endure stress and external environment arising on an interface therebetween. SOLUTION: The base isolation structure 11 comprises the upper side connection steel plate 12, the lower side connection steel plate 13, rubber layers 14 and internal steel plates 15 alternately arranged therebetween, the weatherproof rubber 16 covering the side faces thereof, and a well adhesive rubber 17 laid between the connection steel plates 12, 13 and the weatherproof rubber 16 in a well adhesive manner.
