PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proofing support device which is simple in structure and inexpensive, in which acceleration noise can be suppressed by improving lateral and vertical resonance characteristics of a vehicle on the vibration level at the time of acceleration, and a mounting structure for the vibration-proofing support device. SOLUTION: A torque rod 10 comprises a first rubber bush 11 with an inner cylindrical metallic member 12 and an outer cylindrical metallic member 13 connected to each other through a rubber elastic member 15, a second rubber bush 26, and a connecting rod 24 of a link member 21 connecting both rubber bushes to each other. A pair of rubber projections 17 are provided on each side of a main elastic member section 16 of the rubber elastic member 15 in the axial direction at respective middle positions of the upper and lower parts with the inner cylindrical metallic member 12 located therebetween. The distal ends of the projections 17 are projected outward from the axial opposite ends of the outer cylindrical metallic member 13. The first rubber bush 11 is secured between opposite inner wall surfaces of a U-shaped bracket 31 through the axial opposite ends of the inner cylindrical metallic member 12.
