PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating apparatus equipped with a small heat exchanger unit of high efficiency. SOLUTION: One side of a plurality of plate-type refrigerant/water heat exchangers 20a, 20b is connected in series to a refrigerant circuit constituted using refrigerant pipelines 3a, 3b connected to a heat source unit 1, and the other side of the plurality of plate-type refrigerant/water heat exchangers 20a, 20b is connected in parallel to a cold and hot water circuit constituted using cold and hot water pipelines 4a, 4b connected to a utilization side heat exchanger 30. A line where a refrigerant supplied from the heat source unit 1 is heat-exchanged with cold and hot water can thereby be made long, and heat exchanging efficiency of the refrigerant can be improved. On the cold and hot water circuit side, the flow of cold and hot water to the utilization side heat exchanger 30 can be secured, and the flow velocity of the cold and hot water is lowered to suppress the corrosion of the refrigerant heat exchangers 20a, 20b or the like caused by the cold and hot water can be suppressed.
