摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrodynamic bearing device enhancing efficiency in an assembly process and further lower in cost. SOLUTION: A bearing sleeve 8 is fixed to a housing 7 first, and a shaft member 2 is mounted to the bearing sleeve 8. A thrust member 10 is then inserted in an inner peripheral surface 7c of the housing 7, and its end face 10a is allowed to abut on a lower side end face 2b2 of a flange part 2b. At the same time, an upper side end face 2b1 of the flange part 2b is allowed to abut on a lower side end face 8c of the bearing sleeve 8. The thrust member 10 is axially moved together with the shaft member 2 relative to the housing 7 and the bearing sleeve 8 by a dimensionδ(δ=δ1+δ2) corresponding to the total amount of a thrust bearing clearance (sizeδ1) of a first thrust bearing part S1 and a thrust bearing clearance (sizeδ2) of a second thrust bearing part S2, and the thrust member 10 is fixed to the housing 7 in that position by laser beam welding.
