PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing device capable of efficiently pressing a work formed of hard-to-form metallic material by maintaining the temperature of the work at a desired value. SOLUTION: The pressing device which carries a work W to press dies 3A, 3B, 4A and 4B heated by a die heating mechanism by a transporting mechanism to press the work W is provided with a work heating mechanism 9 to heat the work W to be transported to the press dies 3A, 3B, 4A and 4B by a transporting mechanism 5 at the temperature at which the work can be pressed during the transport or the higher temperature.
