<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass paste packaging body and a glass paste packaging method which are free from any problem of condensation of solvent vapor, excellent in carry-in workability into a clean room, and capable of suppressing generation of wastes. <P>SOLUTION: In the glass paste packaging method, glass paste 13 made by dispersing glass powder solvent containing resin is stored in a container 11, an opening part of the container 11 is sealed by a lid, the lid 14 is fixed to the container 11 by a fixing tool 16, and a heat insulation layer F to insulate at least one side of a space S surrounded by the lid 14, the container 11 and the glass paste 13 from the heat of the outside.
