<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming excellent images on both sides of transfer paper respectively by restraining faulty transfer caused by the thickness of the transfer paper. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a thickness detection means (combination of a control part 80 with a pressure sensor 90) detecting the thickness of the transfer paper, a 1st ammeter 91 detecting a secondary transfer current being the transfer condition of a double-sided transfer means, a 2nd ammeter 92 detecting a ternary transfer current being the transfer condition thereof similarly, a secondary transfer power source 93 being a transfer condition changing means for changing the secondary transfer current, a charger power source 94 being a transfer condition changing means for changing the ternary transfer current, and the control part 80 being a transfer condition control means for controlling the transfer condition changing means based on the result of detection by the thickness detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
