<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of operations of STAP (space/time adaptive processing) weight, in a radar apparatus which performs the suppression of clutter by STAP processing. <P>SOLUTION: The radar apparatus mounted on a mobile body is provided with a pulsed Doppler filter 2 for analyzing the frequency of a receiving signal received by an array antenna 1 and for outputting a Doppler filter bin; a Doppler filter selection part 3 for calculating the frequency of the received waves, with respect to the front direction, from a velocity component, with respect to the front direction of the array antenna of the mobile body and the wavelength of the transmitted waves, and for selecting the Doppler filter bin outputted from the pulsed Doppler filter 2, on the basis of the frequency and an azimuth angle coverage area; and the STAP processing part 4 for performing the STAP processing for the Doppler filter bin, selected by the Doppler filter selection part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
