PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust conditioned air blown out from an indoor unit to an air volume necessary in a room. SOLUTION: This air-conditioning system is provided with an outdoor unit 1 installed outside, an indoor unit 2 installed under a roof 8 of a building and connected to the outdoor unit 1 through a refrigerant pipe 3, an air volume distributing device 9 connected to the indoor unit 2 by a duct 5 and to which the conditioned air is delivered, and a plurality of air supply openings 10 connected to the air volume distributing device 9 by the duct and installed in a plurality of living rooms so as to supply the conditioned air supplied by the indoor unit 2 to the plurality of living rooms 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d. Air from the indoor unit 2 is supplied to the air supply openings 10 by adjusting an air volume of air blown out from a plurality of blowout openings 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d provided on the air volume distributing device 9 in accordance with a command from the indoor unit 2 so as to supply to the air supply openings 10.
