PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a men's simplified obi comprising a stiff obi put on by a man who wears Japanese kimono, easily worn, stable after worn, and so designed that its appearance is not spoiled by the operation of the edge part of the stiff obi. SOLUTION: The simplified obi is formed through the following process: sewing a knot 2 on the center of an obi main body 1; providing an adhesive tape 6 at the surface 5 of a right-side obi body 3; providing adhesive tapes 7, 7 even at the back surface 8 of a left-side obi body 4; and forming a space into which the edge part 9 of the left-side obi body 4 positioning at the upper side of the right-side obi body 3 is inserted when wrapped around the waist, at the knot 2.
