PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor charger which regulates a charging current by a battery voltage, and to provide a method for the same. SOLUTION: The capacitor charger regulates the value of a current passing through the primary side coil of a transformer in a flash lamp capacitor charger, according to the change of the battery voltage, thereby extending the lifetime of the battery.
