PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which the operation reference line of a magnetic head supported on an oscillation arm is always directed toward a tangent direction of a recording track when the oscillation arm moves rotationally. SOLUTION: A head support 24 is freely turnably supported at the tip of the oscillation arm 21 and the head support 24 is always biased clockwise by a biasing member. The oscillation arm 21 is provided with a direction changing member 33 turning around a fulcrum axis 32 as a fulcrum and a sliding projection 33a of the direction changing member 33 freely slidably abuts on the direction changing member 33. Also, a stationary fulcrum 36 abuts freely slidably on the direction changing member 33. Thereby, the operation reference line L of a head 40 is directed toward the tangent direction when the oscillation arm 21 turns and since the biasing force of the biasing member acts at all times, the direction of the head 40 is stabilized at all times.
