PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardenable composition for the purpose of preventing a slip phenomenon when the composition is applied e.g. as a sealing material and in particular a sealing material for construction. SOLUTION: The hardenable composition of the present invention contains a hydrolyzable-silyl-group-containing polymer and a hardening catalyst, wherein 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of polyhydric alcohol have been added to 100 parts by weight of the hydrolyzable-silyl-group-containing polymer.
