INNER MOLD FRAME, PROPULSION METHOD FOR TUNNEL BORING MACHINE AND TUNNEL BORING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner mold frame enabling the locking force thereof to a concrete placed between the peripheral wall of a tunnel and the inner mold frame and a propulsion method for tunnel boring machine and a tunnel boring machine. SOLUTION: A tilt toward the peripheral wall side of the tunnel is provided, from the front to the rear, to the outer peripheral surface of the inner mold frame S1assembled in a ring-shape along the peripheral wall of the excavated tunnel. Since the tilt is provided to the outer peripheral surface of the inner mold frame S1, the locking force between the concrete placed on the peripheral wall of the tunnel and the outer peripheral surface of the inner mold frame S1and the outer peripheral surface of the inner mold frame S1is increased. The tunnel boring machine is propelled by using the inner mold frame S1as a reaction receiver for a shield jack 33. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
