PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener capable of reliably preventing the fastener from separating from a mouth of an object to be sealed due to insufficient fastening strength of the mouth or the fastener from being unintentionally disassembled or cut by excessive fastening of the mouth by fastening and sealing with proper fastening strength. SOLUTION: The fastener includes an engaging piece 1 for fastening a mouth 14a of a bag 14 and an engaging part 2 for admitting the engaging piece 1 to pass through and locking in a fastened state. The engaging piece 1 is equipped with sawtooth-like first engaging means 3, and the engaging part 2 is equipped with second engaging means 9 consisting of engaging latches. The first engaging means 3 inserted through an insertion hole 8 of the engaging part 2 and the second engaging means 9 engage with each other to have the mouth 14a of the bag 14 irreversibly sealed. A fastening strength setting means 19 for regulating the insertion amount of the engaging piece 1 into the engaging part 2 is provided on the engaging piece 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
