NONAQUEOUS GEL PREPARATION FOR EXTERNAL USE

A nonaqueous gel preparation for external use which comprises hydroxypropyl cellulose, one or more alcohols, and a drug, wherein the alcohols comprise a C1-4 monohydric alcohol as an essential ingredient and the proportion by mass of the monohydric alcohol is the highest of the proportions of all the alcohols contained and is at least 60% based on the nonaqueous gel preparation for external use. The nonaqueous gel preparation for external use not only can have storage stability of the drug contained therein but also can give an improved use feeling when applied to the skin, etc.
