<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of readily unlocking a lock of a cover. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises a body 11, a paper insertion slot cover 12, a cover lock lever 13 for locking the paper insertion slot cover 12, a cover open button 14 for unlocking the lock of the paper insertion slot cover 12 by moving the cover lock lever 13 when being pushed down, a cover open button lock lever 15 for locking the cover open button 14, a cam 16 for moving the cover open button lock lever 15, and an unlocking hole 17 into which a pin is to be inserted in order to forcedly move the cover open button lock lever 15. An inclined section 15c is provided to the cover open button lock lever 15 at a part overlapped with the unlocking hole 17. When the pin is inserted, the inclined section 15c is pushed down by the tip portion of the pin and the cover open button lock lever 15 is moved, and then the lock of the cover open button 14 is unlocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
