<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DAB receiver with a self-diagnostic function which can be accurately inspected in a short period of time on the stage of factory shipment and the operating state of which can be diagnosed even without using an expensive measuring instrument in a service institution. <P>SOLUTION: An inspector selects either a factory self-diagnostic mode or a service self-diagnostic mode using an operating mode selector 12. If a self-diagnostic mode is started, a control section 11 checks key operations by the inspector, operations of respective sections and the like while advancing to a diagnostic phase for an operating key 9, a diagnostic phase for a stabilizing power supply 8, a diagnostic phase for a PLL circuit 13, a diagnostic phase for a digital signal processing section 3 and a diagnostic phase for reception sensitivity and if there is a defective part, the part is displayed on a display 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
