<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling liquid composition having the effect of suppressing cavitation damage to metals in a cooling system, particularly, to aluminum, aluminum castings and iron based metals such as cast iron and steel and excellent corrosion preventability to aluminum and aluminum castings at high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling liquid composition contains: (a) 0.1 to 5 wt.% phosphate; (b) 0.0001 to 0.1 wt.% of at least one selected from strontium compounds, magnesium compounds and calcium compounds; (c) 0.1 to 10 wt.% of at least one selected from aliphatic dibasic acids and the salts thereof; (d) 0.1 to 10 wt.% of at least one selected from aromatic monoacids and the salts thereof; and (e) 0.1 to 1 wt.% of at least one of nitrites. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
