PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back pad member of a backpack which offers soft cushioning properties as well as excellent breathing capacity. SOLUTION: This back pad member of a backpack, provided at a place which comes into contact with the back of a user carrying the bag, where outer cloth 1 with projections and recesses on the surface is lined with lining cloth 2. The outer cloth 1 is made of cloth with air permeability. Part of the cloth 1 formed with the projection 3 is provided with a hollow part 4 formed between the outer cloth 1 and the lining cloth 2.
