PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine which is superior in saving resources, by preventing unnecessary consumption of output forms and ink for printing, because there is no need for printing a document of no use for a recipient or a document without the need of saving on an output form out of incoming documents, and is superior in economical efficiency and versatility, because an electronic paper displayed with an incoming document or an outgoing document can be removed from a device body for carrying or storing, and printing to an output form or erasure of unnecessary documents can be performed, as needed, and the electronic paper can be used repeatedly for displaying of incoming documents. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine comprises electronic paper holders 4 and 14 for holding an electronic paper, and an electronic paper holder electrode, arranged at the electronic paper holders and electrically connected with an electronic paper electrode 5a of the electronic paper.
