<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a glass substrate for a color filter for effectively using a glass substrate, the method to be used for a color filter or its intermediate product having a color layer of at least one color, typically when a light shielding layer or a color layer is defective. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The method is used for a color filter produced by successively forming a light shielding layer of chromium and a color layer on a transparent glass substrate or used for an intermediate product having a color layer of at least one color, and includes a step of removing the color layer with 40 to 100 wt.% concentrated sulfuric acid or fuming sulfuric acid. (2) The method is used for a color filter produced by successively forming a light shielding layer made of a black resist and a color layer on a transparent glass substrate or used for an intermediate layer having a color layer of at least one color (including a color layer made of a black resist), and includes a step of removing the color layer with 40 to 100 wt.% concentrated sulfuric acid or fuming sulfuric acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
