<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive prefabricated box, which can be assembled/disassembled easily with less trouble, protects a housed article during transportation and storage, and is easy to recycle. <P>SOLUTION: The prefabricated box comprises a left side board composed of a left outside board 133, a left upper edge board 134, and a left inside board 135, and a right side board composed of a right outside board 139, a right upper edge board 140, and a left inside board 141. The box also includes a left reinforcing side board 110, which is composed of a left reinforcing outside board 144 connected to the left outside board 133 at its rear edge via a fold and of a reinforcing inside board 146 connected to the left reinforcing outside board 144 at its upper edge via a left reinforcing upper edge board 145 having a given width and to the left inside board 135 at its rear edge via a fold, and a right reinforcing side board 111, which is composed of a right reinforcing outside board 147 connected to the right outside board 139 at its rear edge via a fold and of a reinforcing inside board 149 connected to the right reinforcing outside board 147 at its upper edge via a right reinforcing upper edge board 148 having a given width and to the right inside board 141 at its rear edge via a fold.
